Let’s figure it out!

During February I will host a figure drawing session in my Mainframe Studio 273 for anyone interested in drawing or painting from the live model. If you want an opportunity to work from life for the first time, or simply to refresh your drawing skills, here is a great opportunity.  The cost is $195 for all four sessions.  I will be there to teach anyone who would like guidance.  Beginners are welcome.  Please let me know if you want to reserve a spot. We will meet at 1:30pm on Tuesdays Feb. 3,10,17 and 24. 

     The human figure has been an important theme for me (see red chalk drawing).  Part of my artistic practice involves sessions of figure drawing several times a week.  Maybe this is already part of your artistic practice.  Or perhaps you would like to try it.  Most of the time we have to settle for photo references or copying the drawings of masters like DaVinci, Michelangelo or Nelli.  But when it is possible, there is nothing like drawing from life.  This would be a great Valentine for your favorite artist!
